Artist Biography

I am an independent artist creating abstract sculpture and furniture in wood. My work is appropriate for both commercial and residential spaces. You may order the exact styles you see here, or request a modification. I also welcome site-specific commissions. I enjoy working with Art Consultants, Interior Designers and Architects.

All of the wall mounted sculpture designs can also be ordered as freestanding sculptures mounted to a metal base, or simply display them on a horizontal surface, so they can be viewed from any direction.

My "wave" wall sculptures are inspired by natural forms that I see in nature which have movement and flow. With wood as my medium, I attempt to capture the essence of a flag flurry, of flowing water, or of molten glass. Using layers of Baltic birch and colorful exotic woods, I build forms that appear to be bent.

For commercial spaces, security hardware can be attached to the solid wood back. Each piece is signed and dated and inscribed with a unique ID number on the back.
