Artist Biography

Earl has acquired “his style” of furniture design and creation through a lifetime of observation and hands on experience. At 18 he created his own custom surfboards. In college he studied art. But the experience that would most influence him came when he was employed in 1971 by a furniture store.

There, Earl observed many styles of furniture and learned that a good finish, proper construction and great Design combine to make a beautiful and lasting piece of furniture. Since Earl started his own business in 1981, he has continued to hone his talents into the Furniture Maker he is today. Today, Earl not only works on commissioned pieces but also has work displayed in local Galleries and Furniture Shows.

Among his accomplishments, Earl was a Niche Award Finalist in 2008. He also has a piece on permanent display with the Cinco Banderas Collection, as a result of a Purchase Award from the Arts Council Of Northwest Florida.

Earl plans to continue evolving his style of furniture design and creation through the
utilization of interesting wood, shapes and color.
