Artist Biography

Since I can remember, I have always been involved in the arts whether it be drawing, painting, sculpture, jewelry or woodworking. I attain great pleasure and satisfaction working with my mind, heart and hands. By being aware and familiar of my surroundings, in my everyday life, lends a sensitivity of understanding others personal needs, wants and desires.

When creating custom furniture I always have my clientele’s personal interest at heart and the memory of tradition still at my hand. I’m a self-taught, furniture designer/artisan, designing and hand-crafting Fine Custom Furniture, since 1977. Priding myself on diversity designing in styles from old world to contemporary, fabricating primarily in the
medium of wood using accents of metal, stone, glass and ornamental composition and utilizing old and new skill techniques. Wood species are hand selected for grain, color and texture and hand finishing is done to bring forth their natural characteristics and luster for a unique visual perspective.

Since 1991, I specialized in TV Lift Cabinets. TVs no longer need be the main focal point of any room! They can be concealed in furniture, built-ins, floors and walls and with a click of a button revealed for viewing. Motorized Lift Furniture are not just for TVs but also bars, safes and private collections including art, jewelry, antique weaponry, etc... It is always a delight creating with those who appreciate the furniture maker’s “hands-on” expertise. So, it is with my humble pride, that I seek your confidence and trust, by handcrafting, signing and dating each custom furniture project made just for you.
