Pacific Bookcase
This Cherry and Ebony case would be perfect for displaying your best books or any smaller collectibles. The inside can have either wood or glass adjustable shelves. The back is frame-and-panel (using bookmatched solid wood panels). The top has breadboard ends attached with ebony splines. Door handles are hand-carved Ebony.
The side panels are also bookmatched, and have an optional curly maple/ebony inlay. Please contact the artist for more information.

Artist Biography

Paul DeWitt has been building furniture for over 10 years, and full-time professionally for the past 5 years. Initially drawn to the arts-and-crafts style, Paul now specializes in designing and building Greene-and-Greene inspired furniture. In addition, he builds Shaker and Asian influenced designs. Working mostly with North American hardwoods such as Cherry, Paul tries to include personalized, hand-crafted details in each piece such as inlay and carved handles using more exotic woods like Ebony. He builds all his furniture with the hope that the piece will last at least as long as the tree it came from. Paul ships or personally delivers his furniture to clients all over the US.

When not building furniture, Paul is likely to be found out hiking, rock climbing, or trail running in the Colorado mountains.
