Steve Casey's woodworking career began at age of nineteen in a night school wood shop class that he attended in 1974. He then enrolled at CSU Northridge to study woodworking as a fine art. Inspired by the woodworking studio craftsmen of the day, Casey spent most of his early career designing and constructing original work for shows and competitions. In 1978 Casey quit school and his part time furniture making job to pursue the custom woodworking business.

Thirty three years later Casey continues the tradition of the studio craftsmen that inspired him in the 70's. In recent times, Steve has become a nationally published author sharing his unique experience and expertise designing and building custom home theater furniture and cabinetry. Casey currently provides fine custom woodwork, cabinetry and furniture in the Los Angeles and Southern California area.
